finals: 4/4
Forget the grades. I did it: four exams, no childbirth!
Taking my Admin exam was somewhat like getting slapped lightly by an annoying friend with longer arms than you, for eight hours, and managing to land a couple counter-slaps that did no real damage but hopefully earned you the tiniest bit of respect. Tough going, interrupted by a lot of bathroom breaks.
And toward the end of the final policy open-ender, with my back creaking, snow still falling outside, and the light at the end of the semester tunnel growing larger, I went on a 2/3 of a page rant about the immigration bureaucracy, tying it in vaguely, and going out on my own terms. You know, making myself feel like I had used this confusing, dense class to gain the littlest bit of insight into my future area of practice. (I assume the dean doesn't read my blog and has now IDed my exam. That would be terrifying.)
I shall never again take a law school exam. Whee.
And now: New York weekend, Christmas with PF and some Chinese food, PF on Jeopardy, and somewhere very soon down the line, a baby. Let the festivities commence.
Congrats on finishing exams without giving birth! Victory!

I found your blog recently (I'm a 2L at Michigan, also interested in public interest) and really like it. I'm also a major fan of Jeopardy, so am watching it right now! My best friend is from Bethlehem PA so I was super psyched about that category.
Congrats on finishing and good luck with the baby!

Congratulations! Hooray, we're done! And now you can concentrate on more important things than Admin.
When will PF be on Jeopardy?

P.S. Is admin worth taking? I'm already planning to skip fed courts and 1st amendment... should I make it a trifecta?

Apparently Trevor had some kind of transformative experience, but I didn't. It was sometimes interesting, usually hard. OK to skip, especially if you aren't going to be dealing with government agencies much in the future. Maybe it's one of those really prof-dependent classes.
He's on a week from today! 12/27 - I'll make sure to post an annoying reminder next week.

Congrats! You should definitely post a PSA about Jeopardy next week- I'm excited about it and I've never even met you two! (But your husband graduated from my law school and I read your blog so I think I can say I "know" someone on Jeopardy... right?)

Congratulations on finishing!! Yay!
Definitely let us know when he's on. And I, too, want your thoughts on the cost/benefit of Admin Law. I have the opportunity to take it during a compressed summer session (five weeks, four nights a week), but I'm leaning towards putting it off for a regular semester. I tried to take Admin Law in my senior year of undergrad and dropped it fairly quickly. That was the only class I ever dropped! But I hear it's an important class to take.

Congrats on being done Dre! I've already got my calendar marked for PF's appearance. I'll tell you, it's a lot more fun to watch Jeopardy when actively rooting for someone.
Also, anxiously awaiting Ziggy!

I'm obsessed with Jeopardy - I can't wait to see it on 12/27. The day he's on, you should give us a little nudge to remind us to watch. I hope he wins big!
